The Role
- Provide comprehensive examinations, formulate diagnostics and treatment plans, and manage a general practice caseload
- Perform routine soft-tissue surgery and dentistry; consult on orthopedic cases where needed
- Interpret imaging and in-house lab results to guide timely care
- Communicate clearly with clients to educate and build trust
- Maintain accurate medical records, prescriptions, and controlled substance compliance
- Support daytime urgent and same-day cases in a fast-paced but well-supported setting
- Collaborate with the hospital leadership and care team to refine protocols and ensure seamless patient flow
- Participate in case rounds and contribute to a positive, team-centered culture

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- License (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in Tennessee
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- At least 1 year of clinical experience preferred; confident new graduates will be considered with mentorship
- Strong medical, surgical, and dental skills; clear and empathetic client communication
- Ability to perform the physical aspects of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds as needed
