The Role
- Perform comprehensive patient exams, diagnostics, and medical workups
- Deliver clear, empathetic client communication and education
- Conduct routine surgical and dental procedures; participate in urgent care triage within a general practice setting
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and follow controlled substance protocols
- Collaborate closely with hospital leadership and support teams to uphold clinical standards, streamline daily operations, and ensure efficient patient flow

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Tennessee (or eligibility to obtain)
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- One or more years of clinical experience preferred, with confidence in routine surgery and dentistry
- Strong diagnostic skills, sound medical judgment, and effective teamwork and communication
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including safely lifting up to 50 pounds
