Veterinarian

A long-established small animal hospital in Tucson, Arizona is looking to welcome another Veterinarian to its team, offering a relaxed Monday-to-Friday schedule with no regular Saturday or Sunday opening.

This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian who values longer appointments, strong client relationships and the chance to provide comprehensive general practice medicine without being pushed toward a high-volume appointment model.

About the Practice

The hospital has been caring for dogs and cats in the Tucson community for several decades and has developed a loyal local client base. The clinical team includes multiple veterinarians alongside an experienced hospital manager and a team of veterinary assistants and client support staff.

Appointments are scheduled in generous blocks, allowing doctors more time to examine patients, educate owners and discuss treatment recommendations rather than feeling pressured to move rapidly between cases.

This is not an emergency hospital and does not routinely operate as a walk-in clinic, allowing the team to maintain a more predictable appointment-based working environment.

Why This Role?

•Salary up to $140,000
•Monday-Friday working schedule
•No Saturdays or Sundays
•30-minute appointment blocks
•Established and loyal client base
•Broad medical and surgical GP caseload
•Experienced veterinary and support team
•Opportunity to build long-term client relationships
•Collaborative approach to patient care
•Suitable environment for a veterinarian who values client communication and education
•Predictable general practice caseload without overnight emergency responsibilities

The Location

Tucson offers an attractive combination of year-round sunshine, dramatic desert scenery and a comparatively relaxed lifestyle. Surrounded by mountain ranges and the Sonoran Desert, the city provides outstanding access to hiking, cycling and other outdoor activities, including the landscapes of nearby Saguaro National Park.

The city also has a distinctive food and cultural scene, a major university presence and plenty of restaurants, arts and entertainment. For veterinarians looking for sunshine, outdoor recreation and a city lifestyle without the scale and congestion of some larger Southwestern metros, Tucson has a lot to offer.

If you're looking for a GP position where you can spend meaningful time with your patients and clients while enjoying a schedule with your weekends free, this opportunity is well worth exploring.

Apply today or contact Global Talent Partners for a confidential discussion about the role.
