The Role
- Deliver comprehensive exams, diagnostics, and individualized treatment plans
- Perform general surgery and dentistry, including anesthetic management and pain control
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients to support understanding and adherence
- Utilize in-house lab, radiography, and monitoring equipment to guide timely care
- Prescribe medications and maintain compliance with controlled substance protocols
- Maintain accurate, thorough medical records and support efficient patient flow
- Collaborate with the leadership team on clinical standards, workflow, and quality improvement
- Contribute to daily case discussions and support a positive, learning-focused team culture
- Flexible scheduling with a 4-day workweek within a hospital open six days

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Tennessee (or eligibility to obtain)
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Strong medical, surgical, and dental skills; new graduates with a growth mindset are welcome to apply
- Excellent interpersonal and client communication abilities
- Team-focused approach and commitment to high-quality, compassionate care
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
