Flexible scheduling is available, including a 3- or 4-day work week with a rotating Saturday. The Role
- Perform comprehensive physical exams, diagnostics, and medical workups
- Provide client communication and education with clear treatment plans
- Conduct general surgery and dentistry with appropriate anesthesia monitoring
- Interpret imaging and laboratory results to guide case management
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records and ensure controlled-substance compliance
- Collaborate with technicians and support staff to uphold efficient, high-standard patient care
- Participate in hospital protocols, quality improvement, and daily rounds
- Contribute to a positive, team-first culture and mentor support staff as needed
- Schedule: flexible 3- or 4-day work week with a rotating Saturday; hospital operates six days per week

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- Current or eligible Tennessee veterinary license
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- 1+ years of experience in a veterinary practice
- Strong clinical, surgical, and dental skills with a commitment to high-quality care
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative team mindset
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and perform occasional bending/kneeling as needed
