The Role
- Perform comprehensive patient exams, medical work-ups and preventive care
- Interpret diagnostics and manage cases using in-house lab and on-site imaging
- Provide client education and clear, empathetic communication
- Perform surgeries and dental procedures; follow anesthesia and surgical safety protocols
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records and uphold controlled substance standards
- Collaborate with hospital leadership on protocols, workflow and quality standards
- Monitor hospitalized cases and participate in rounds to ensure continuity of care
- Contribute to team training, efficiency and a positive, supportive culture
- Support urgent care needs presented during business hours

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- Active Colorado veterinary license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- 1+ years of experience in a veterinary practice preferred
- Strong diagnostic, surgical and dental skills with a commitment to high-quality, compassionate care
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Comfort managing cases during regular-hours urgent care
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
