The Role
- Provide comprehensive small-animal general practice care, including wellness, internal medicine, and client education
- Perform soft-tissue surgery; opportunity to participate in orthopedic procedures and dentistry
- Utilize on-site ultrasound, radiography, and in-house laboratory for efficient diagnostics
- Manage an efficient daily caseload, averaging approximately 14–16 appointments per DVM
- Work within a supportive structure, typically a 2:1 technician-to-doctor ratio
- Collaborate closely with colleagues and support staff to deliver consistent, high-quality care
- Participate in mentorship, case discussions, and continuous improvement of medical protocols

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- Eligibility for a Rhode Island veterinary license
- DEA registration and state-controlled substance authorization (or eligibility)
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Strong communication skills and a client-centered, team-oriented approach
