This position combines hands-on clinical medicine with meaningful leadership, mentorship and team development. You'll remain actively involved with patients while helping guide medical standards, develop fellow veterinarians and create an environment where the entire clinical team can thrive.

The Leadership Opportunity

As Medical Director, you'll spend the majority of your time practicing medicine while providing clinical leadership across the hospital.

Responsibilities will include:

•Providing high-quality medical, surgical and dental care
•Setting and maintaining excellent clinical standards
•Mentoring, coaching and supporting associate veterinarians
•Leading doctor meetings and collaborative case discussions
•Supporting consistent medical protocols and best practices
•Partnering with the Practice Manager on hospital priorities
•Improving clinical workflows and technician utilization
•Supporting scheduling and efficient case management
•Ensuring accurate and timely medical records
•Overseeing appropriate controlled substance procedures
•Supporting regulatory and radiation safety compliance
•Helping manage medical equipment and clinical resources
•Participating in veterinarian recruitment and interviewing
•Supporting onboarding and development of new doctors
•Encouraging continuous learning and professional development
•Building a positive, inclusive and solutions-focused team culture
•Supporting community education and outreach initiatives
