The Role
- Provide comprehensive small-animal care across wellness, sick visits, surgery and dentistry
- Manage a caseload averaging about 14 appointments per day with an approximate 2:1 support staff ratio
- Utilize in-house diagnostics and digital radiography (including dental); perform procedures in a dedicated surgical suite with appropriate monitoring
- Incorporate therapeutic laser when indicated for patient care
- Build lasting client relationships through clear communication and education
- Collaborate with experienced technicians and on-site leadership to deliver efficient, high-quality medicine
- Maintain thorough medical records and uphold exemplary patient safety and quality standards

Requirements
- DVM/VMD or equivalent from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Vermont (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong clinical communication skills; comfortable with surgery and managing appointments independently
- Experience preferred
