The Role
- Part-time, relief (locum) veterinarian
- Provide high-quality preventive care, wellness exams, and vaccinations
- Diagnose and manage common illnesses and injuries; develop and communicate treatment plans
- Perform routine soft-tissue surgery and dental procedures within scope
- Utilize digital radiology, dental X-rays, and in-house lab testing for timely decision-making
- Maintain precise medical records and ensure a clean, well-organized clinical environment
- Educate clients to support long-term pet health and continuity of care
- Uphold safety protocols and controlled substance regulations; collaborate closely with the medical team
- Flexibility to work some weekends and occasional evenings as needed

Requirements
- DVM/VMD or equivalent from an accredited institution
- License (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in Utah
- DEA registration (or eligibility)
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Competence with routine surgery and dentistry, and comfort with small-animal patients
- Strong communication, record-keeping, and teamwork skills
