The Role
- Provide urgent care for non-life-threatening conditions, including triage, diagnostics, treatment, and client communication
- Perform same-day procedures such as wound care, laceration repair, abscess management, pain control, and stabilization of common medical presentations
- Utilize on-site imaging and laboratory capabilities to guide rapid, evidence-based decision making
- Collaborate closely with general practice, surgery, and emergency teams to ensure continuity of care and timely transfer of complex cases
- Deliver clear, compassionate client education and maintain accurate, timely medical records
- Help mentor and direct technical staff to optimize patient flow and quality of care
- Contribute to a positive, learning-focused team culture and uphold AAHA-level standards

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Utah (or eligibility to obtain)
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Comfortable with fast-paced urgent care, including triage, diagnostics, and same-day procedures
- Strong communicator with a collaborative, client-centered approach
