The Role
- Lead day-to-day operations to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care and outstanding client service
- Oversee recruiting, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management for clinical and client service teams
- Manage financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, billing, accounts receivable, and expense control; analyze P&L and drive action plans
- Maintain client experience standards, monitor reviews, and enhance client communication and service workflows
- Direct operational processes: inventory and ordering, scheduling optimization, facility and equipment upkeep, and policy development
- Guide marketing and community outreach: social media, website content, local events, and retention initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety, labor, and veterinary regulations; uphold accurate, confidential record-keeping and OSHA-aligned protocols
- Champion effective use of practice software and technology; coordinate with IT to resolve issues
- Full-time schedule with potential evening/weekend needs; fast-paced environment with occasional light physical tasks

Requirements
- 3-5 years of management experience, preferably in veterinary, medical, or multi-site service operations
- Demonstrated strength in financial management, budgeting, and P&L analysis
- Proven people leadership: hiring, coaching, scheduling, and performance development
- Excellent client service, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with practice or healthcare software and data-driven decision-making
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include Saturdays
- Bachelor’s degree, CVPM or similar credentials preferred (not required)
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to obtain and maintain any required California professional licenses or permits for this role, as applicable
