The Role
- Perform comprehensive physical exams, diagnostics, and medical workups for companion animals
- Provide client communication and education with empathy and clarity
- Conduct soft-tissue surgery and dental procedures; ensure accurate medical records
- Prescribe medications and maintain compliance with controlled substance protocols
- Support team efficiency and a positive culture; participate in rounds and case oversight
- Collaborate with hospital leadership on workflow, protocols, and quality standards
- Contribute to training and practice improvements to elevate patient care

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- License to practice (or eligibility to obtain) in California
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a veterinary setting
- Strong clinical acumen, including surgical and dental skills; excellent communication and teamwork
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus
