The Role

You will work across both general practice and emergency medicine, providing continuity of care while benefiting from the variety and clinical challenge of a hybrid caseload.

•Deliver comprehensive GP, urgent and emergency veterinary care
•Perform physical examinations and develop individualized treatment plans
•Stabilize and manage urgent and emergent presentations
•Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
•Utilize digital imaging and ultrasound for diagnostic workups
•Interpret in-house laboratory results
•Utilize teleradiology and additional diagnostic support where appropriate
•Perform soft-tissue surgical procedures
•Provide comprehensive dental care
•Develop appropriate anesthesia and pain-management protocols
•Manage appropriate hospitalized patients
•Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment and prognosis
•Maintain accurate electronic medical records
•Participate in regular clinical rounds and case discussions
•Follow appropriate medication and controlled-substance protocols
•Collaborate closely with credentialed technicians and fellow veterinarians
•Contribute to continued improvements in clinical workflows and patient care
