The Role
- Deliver high-quality care across both general practice and emergency caseloads
- Perform comprehensive exams, diagnostics, and treatment plans
- Execute soft-tissue surgery and dental procedures with appropriate support
- Communicate clearly with clients and the clinical team; document thoroughly in EMRs
- Utilize in-house diagnostics, digital imaging, ultrasound, and teleradiology access
- Support safe medication protocols, including controlled substances
- Participate in daily rounds, uphold clinical standards, and help refine hospital workflows
- Collaborate with leadership on priorities that enhance patient care and team efficiency

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Active Pennsylvania veterinary license (or ability to obtain promptly)
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- 1+ year of emergency practice experience
- Strong diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills; comfort with urgent and emergent care
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Authorization to work in the United States
