The Role
- Provide medical leadership and partner with practice management to uphold clinical quality and an excellent client experience
- Deliver high-quality general practice medicine and surgery, including preventive care, internal medicine, dentistry, and routine soft-tissue procedures
- Guide and mentor veterinarians and support staff; foster a positive, collaborative team culture
- Support and refine medical protocols, standards of care, and workflow efficiency
- Engage with clients to build long-term relationships through clear communication and education
- Participate in case reviews and collaborate on urgent, same-day cases as needed
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Contribute to scheduling, equipment, and operational planning that supports patient care

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent from an accredited institution
- License to practice in California (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Demonstrated clinical proficiency in small-animal general practice; leadership experience or strong interest in leadership
- Excellent communication, team-building, and client-education skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to medicine
