The Role
- Deliver high-quality general practice care, including wellness, internal medicine, dentistry, and routine soft-tissue surgery
- Triage and manage same-day urgent care during daytime hours as needed
- Utilize in-house diagnostics, digital imaging, and ultrasound to guide case management
- Communicate clearly with clients, develop treatment plans, and provide education and follow-up
- Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to controlled substance protocols
- Collaborate with veterinarians, registered technicians, and support staff; participate in rounds and case discussions
- Help optimize clinical workflow and uphold hospital protocols and quality standards

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- Active California veterinary license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Strong clinical skills; proficiency in routine surgery and dentistry preferred
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and client service skills
- Comfortable with the physical demands of the role, including safely lifting patients and equipment as needed
- 1+ years of experience in small animal practice preferred; mentorship available for qualified new graduates
