Diagnostic and treatment tools include an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, and rehabilitation and integrative options such as laser therapy and acupuncture. The team model pairs veterinarians with registered veterinary technicians and experienced support staff, with mentorship and professional development available. The hospital serves an urban caseload and offers extended hours that include Saturdays.

The Role
- Provide comprehensive exams, diagnostics, and treatment plans for canine and feline patients
- Perform soft-tissue surgery and dentistry if desired
- Communicate clearly with clients to guide preventive care and treatment decisions
- Maintain accurate medical records and follow controlled substance protocols
- Collaborate with veterinarians, RVTs, and support staff to ensure safe, efficient patient flow
- Support hospital standards through participation in rounds, case discussions, and protocol updates
- Select shifts that align with personal and professional goals while helping maintain continuity of care

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- Active license to practice veterinary medicine in California (or ability to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic skills; surgical and dental proficiency a plus
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and client-service skills
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
