- Multidisciplinary team structure with veterinarians, registered veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, and client service professionals
- Full-service general practice with urgent/next-day care and Saturday availability
- In-house diagnostics including digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory for same-day results
- Surgical capabilities for routine and advanced soft-tissue procedures and select orthopedics, with standard anesthesia planning, IV fluids, and continuous monitoring
- On-site pharmacy to streamline treatment and improve continuity of care

The Role
- Serve as the hospital’s Medical Director, setting medical standards and ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care
- Lead, coach, and mentor the clinical team; foster a positive, collaborative culture
- Deliver full-spectrum small-animal care, including wellness, internal medicine, dentistry, routine and advanced soft-tissue surgery, and select orthopedic procedures
- Utilize in-house diagnostics and imaging to guide same-day decision-making
- Partner with practice management on workflow, scheduling, and client experience
- Champion clear client communication and community engagement
- Share in Saturday coverage consistent with the hospital’s schedule

Requirements
- DVM/VMD (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- Current California veterinary license (or ability to obtain before start date)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Proven clinical proficiency; prior leadership or mentorship experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and a client-centered approach to care
- DEA license (or eligibility)
