This is an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian who wants to combine hands-on clinical medicine with leadership, mentorship and hospital development. You'll play an important role in maintaining high medical standards, supporting the veterinary team and helping shape the continued growth of the practice while remaining actively involved in patient care.

This established full-service companion animal hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats within a modern, welcoming clinical environment.

The facility has been thoughtfully designed around patient comfort and efficient clinical workflows, including separate entrances for canine and feline patients to help create a calmer experience from the moment clients arrive.

Leadership responsibilities will include:

Clinical Responsibilities

Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you'll maintain a varied small animal caseload.

Responsibilities will include:

•Providing comprehensive wellness and preventative care
•Diagnosing and treating medical conditions
•Developing individualized treatment plans
•Performing routine soft tissue surgery
•Providing comprehensive dental care
•Utilizing imaging and in-house laboratory diagnostics
•Managing chronic and senior pet conditions
•Providing acupuncture where appropriate and within your experience
•Educating clients on treatment options and preventative healthcare
•Maintaining accurate medical records
•Collaborating closely with veterinary technicians and support staff

Requirements

•Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent qualification
•Texas veterinary license or eligibility to obtain
•Eligibility to work in the United States
•Strong small animal clinical experience
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Interest in mentoring and developing veterinary professionals
•Strong commitment to clinical excellence and client service
•Collaborative, team-focused leadership style

Previous Medical Director or leadership experience would be advantageous, although experienced veterinarians looking to take the next step into formal clinical leadership are also encouraged to apply.
