About the Hospital

The hospital provides comprehensive care for dogs and cats, including wellness and preventative medicine, sick-patient appointments, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics and behavioural medicine.

You'll join a team of six staff members alongside one current veterinarian, with an approximate 1.5-to-1 ratio of licensed veterinary technicians and assistants to DVMs. The facility features four examination rooms and modern equipment, including digital radiography, ultrasound and therapeutic laser technology.

The team is developing clinical protocols and working towards Fear Free certification, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, patient comfort and professional development.

The Opportunity

The hospital is open to appointing either an Associate Veterinarian or a Medical Director, depending on your experience and career goals.
As an Associate, you'll deliver high-quality general practice care while building lasting relationships with clients and patients. Experienced candidates interested in leadership can help develop clinical protocols, mentor colleagues and shape the hospital's future.

Compensation and Benefits

Associate Veterinarian:

•ProSal compensation starting at $190,000 annually.
•Sign-on bonus of up to $50,000.
•Retention bonus of up to $25,000 over three years.
•Production-based earning opportunities.
•Comprehensive benefits, including eligible health insurance, 401(k) match and wellbeing resources.

Medical Director:

•ProSal compensation of approximately $180,000$200,000 annually.
•Additional Medical Director stipend and protected administrative time.
•Enhanced production percentage and quarterly production bonuses.
•Sign-on bonus of up to $50,000 and retention bonus of up to $25,000 over three years.

Final compensation will depend on experience, qualifications and agreed responsibilities.

About You

We're seeking a collaborative veterinarian with at least two years of clinical experience, ideally three to five years, who values communication, teamwork and high-quality patient care.

A DVM, VMD or equivalent qualification and New York veterinary licensure are required. Candidates interested in the Medical Director position should also bring strong leadership skills and a passion for developing others. An appointment-focused clinician may be considered, although some flexibility with clinical duties is preferred.
