On-site capabilities include general radiology/imaging, an in-house laboratory, anesthesia and soft-tissue surgery, dental services, hospitalization including isolation, and comprehensive preventive care. The Role
- Part-time schedule targeted at approximately 24 hours per week, with participation in a shared evening and weekend rotation
- Provide high-quality primary care, including wellness and sick appointments, preventive medicine, and client education
- Perform and manage diagnostics using on-site imaging and in-house laboratory resources
- Conduct routine soft-tissue surgery and dental procedures, including anesthesia and pain management
- Collaborate closely with RVTs and support staff to deliver efficient, team-based care
- Maintain accurate medical records and support hospital protocols for quality, safety, and infection control, including use of isolation facilities when required
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and uphold a culture of empathy, respect, and clinical excellence

Requirements
- DVM degree (or equivalent) and eligibility for licensure with the College of Veterinarians of Ontario
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Minimum 1 year of post-graduate clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency with routine surgery and dentistry, plus core diagnostics and case management
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to evidence-based medicine and collaborative teamwork
- Comfort with a part-time schedule that may include evening and weekend shifts
