About the Role

Starting your veterinary career is an exciting step, and this hospital has developed a structured mentorship program specifically designed to help new graduates make that transition with confidence.

During the first 16 weeks, you will receive three hours of dedicated mentorship each week through blocked appointments and one-to-one support from experienced veterinarians. The program focuses on three key areas of clinical development: surgery, medicine, and communication, providing a structured foundation as you build your skills and gain experience.

You will join a 12-doctor, 70-member practice with a high support-staff-to-doctor ratio, allowing you to focus on developing your clinical skills while having an experienced team around you. The hospital provides a varied small animal caseload and access to extensive diagnostic and surgical equipment, including an IDEXX in-house laboratory, two surgical suites, a dedicated dental suite with digital dental radiology, ultrasound, digital radiography, and a full pharmacy.

You will also have access to visiting specialists, including a board-certified surgeon, radiologists, a cardiologist, and a mobile internal medicine specialist. This provides valuable opportunities to learn from experienced clinicians while being exposed to a broad range of cases.
