The Role
- Provide high-quality relief coverage across general practice, urgent, and emergency services within a 24/7 hospital
- Triage, diagnose, and manage a diverse caseload, including inpatient and critical care cases
- Utilize imaging, in-house lab, and advanced monitoring to guide case workups and treatment plans
- Perform procedures and surgeries in line with experience and comfort level
- Collaborate closely with specialists, technicians, and client-service teams to ensure seamless, compassionate care
- Communicate clearly with clients and maintain thorough medical records
- Contribute to a culture of learning, with opportunities to support interns and participate in CE

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in California (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or eligibility) for controlled substances
- Strong clinical judgment, clear communication, and a team-first mindset; prior emergency or high-volume experience is preferred
