Global Talent Partners is excited to present an opportunity for a Veterinarian to join a well-established, AAHA-accredited companion animal hospital in Athens, Georgia.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an experienced multi-doctor team with a varied medical and surgical caseload, strong clinical support and a genuine commitment to high-quality medicine. With a Monday through Friday schedule and no regular weekends, the position also offers an attractive balance between career development and life outside of work.

About the Practice

You'll join an established three-doctor veterinary team supported by experienced veterinary technicians, assistants and client care professionals.
The hospital is AAHA-accredited and provides comprehensive medical, diagnostic and surgical care to an established companion animal client base.

Services include:
•Wellness and preventative medicine
•Comprehensive medical examinations
•Internal medicine
•In-house laboratory diagnostics
•Sick-patient and urgent care
•Emergency care during hospital hours
•Soft tissue surgery
•Comprehensive dentistry
•Senior pet medicine
•Nutritional counseling
•Vaccinations and parasite prevention
•Microchipping
•Chronic disease management
•Complex medical case management

One of the strengths of the hospital is the variety of clinical interests already represented within the veterinary team. Existing doctors bring particular interests across surgery, feline gastrointestinal medicine, feline behavior and exotic animal medicine, creating an excellent environment for collaborative case discussions and continued learning.

The practice's AAHA accreditation also reflects its commitment to maintaining established standards across areas such as patient care, diagnostics, anesthesia, surgery, pain management and hospital operations.
The hospital operates Monday through Friday and is closed on weekends, giving veterinarians a predictable schedule and the opportunity to properly switch off outside of work.

The Opportunity

This position would suit a Veterinarian who values clinical autonomy, collaboration and the opportunity to develop their individual interests within an experienced team.

You'll manage a varied companion animal caseload covering preventative medicine, internal medicine, dentistry, diagnostics, sick-patient care and surgery while working closely with experienced veterinary support staff.

The diversity of experience within the existing veterinary team also provides opportunities to develop interests in areas such as:
•Soft tissue surgery
•Feline medicine
•Gastrointestinal medicine
•Feline behavior
•Exotic animal medicine
•Dentistry
•Internal medicine
•Complex medical case management
•Preventative and senior pet care

You'll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with clients, follow cases from diagnosis through treatment and contribute to clinical discussions across the wider veterinary team.
