The Role
- Full-time small-animal general practice position
- Provide preventive and wellness care, including exams, vaccinations, and parasite prevention
- Perform general soft-tissue surgery (including spay/neuter) and routine dentistry
- Utilize digital radiography and in-house laboratory testing to diagnose and manage cases
- Develop treatment plans and communicate clearly with pet owners
- Manage a mix of appointments and drop-offs for a varied caseload
- Collaborate closely with technicians and support staff in a team-based workflow
- Contribute to mentorship and training for students and developing team members
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold quality and safety standards
- Consistent daytime schedule with shared weekend coverage

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Louisiana (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a commitment to client education and teamwork
