Global Talent Partners is proud to present an exciting opportunity for an Associate Veterinarian to join a progressive, multi-doctor companion animal hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana.

This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian looking for a diverse medical and surgical caseload, excellent technician utilization and access to advanced clinical equipment. You'll join an established team of more than five veterinarians supported by an approximately 3:1 veterinary technician-to-doctor ratio, creating an environment where doctors can focus on medicine while benefiting from strong day-to-day clinical support.

The Opportunity

As an Associate Veterinarian, you'll manage a varied companion animal caseload spanning preventative care, diagnostics, medicine, dentistry and surgery.

Responsibilities will include:

•Providing comprehensive wellness and medical examinations
•Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions
•Developing individualized treatment plans
•Performing routine soft tissue surgery
•Providing comprehensive dental care
•Utilizing ultrasound, digital radiography and laboratory diagnostics
•Managing hospitalized patients
•Collaborating with the wider veterinary team on complex cases
•Providing clear client education and communication
•Maintaining accurate medical records
•Working closely with veterinary technicians and support staff
•Participating in case discussion and continued clinical development

There is also excellent scope to develop interests in areas such as internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, acupuncture or regenerative medicine.

Requirements

•DVM/VMD or equivalent veterinary qualification
•Louisiana veterinary license or eligibility to obtain
•Eligibility to work in the United States
•Strong communication and client relationship skills
•Comfortable managing general medical, surgical and dental cases
•Collaborative, team-oriented approach
