The Role
- Part-time schedule with options designed for predictability and balance, including a shared weekend rotation
- Provide high-quality primary care for companion animals, emphasizing preventive medicine
- Perform wellness exams, vaccinations, dermatology and GI workups, dentistry, and routine soft-tissue surgery
- Utilize diagnostic imaging to support timely treatment plans
- Communicate clearly with clients, set expectations, and deliver compassionate guidance
- Partner with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient, team-based care
- Maintain thorough medical records and uphold safety, anesthesia, and infection-control standards

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent from an accredited program
- Active Michigan veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to preventive care and client service
