The Hospital
This established small-animal practice delivers comprehensive preventive, medical, surgical, and dental care in a supportive, team-based environment. Veterinarians are backed by experienced technicians and assistants, with structured onboarding, mentorship, and ongoing education to help them thrive. Patient care is enabled by in-house diagnostics, including digital radiology, dental imaging, and laboratory testing, plus the convenience of an on-site pharmacy. Core services include wellness exams and vaccinations, parasite prevention, nutrition counseling, dermatology, gastrointestinal care, orthopedic evaluation and treatment, routine soft-tissue and orthopedic procedures, and dental cleanings. Client convenience features include drop-off appointments, microchipping, and medical grooming under veterinary supervision. The practice is committed to inclusive client service, with access to interpretation support for many languages.

The Role
- Full-time small-animal Veterinarian focused on high-quality preventive and general practice care
- Deliver wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite prevention, nutrition counseling, dermatology, and GI care
- Perform routine surgeries (including spay/neuter, soft-tissue, and select orthopedic procedures) and dental cleanings with dental imaging
- Utilize in-house diagnostics, including digital radiology, dental X-rays, and laboratory testing, to guide same-day care decisions
- Collaborate closely with technicians, assistants, and hospital leadership to maintain efficient, compassionate patient flow
- Communicate clearly with clients, develop care plans, and maintain thorough medical records
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive culture with a focus on learning and continuous improvement
- Participate in a fair weekday/weekend schedule aligned with posted hospital hours

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) from an accredited institution
- Active Tennessee veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Strong communicator and collaborative team member with a commitment to preventive care and client service
