The Role
- Deliver comprehensive patient exams, diagnostics, and medical work-ups
- Perform general surgery and dentistry; develop treatment plans and educate clients
- Utilize on-site lab, digital radiography, ultrasound, dental and surgical suites, and in-hospital pharmacy
- Prescribe medications and maintain controlled-substance protocols
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure clear, timely client communication
- Collaborate with hospital leadership on workflows, quality standards, and efficiency
- Participate in rounds, monitor in-hospital cases, and contribute to protocol review and continuous improvement

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- Current license (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in Tennessee
- Active or eligible DEA registration
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in a veterinary setting
- Strong diagnostic, surgical, dental, and client communication skills
- Ability to perform the physical duties of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds
