The Role
- Provide comprehensive care for dogs and cats, including preventive medicine, diagnostics, and case management
- Perform routine and soft-tissue surgical procedures and dentistry within a fully equipped surgical and dental suite
- Utilize on-site diagnostics, including radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, and ophthalmic screening
- Deliver safe anesthesia, analgesia, and perioperative care with a focus on pain management and patient comfort
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients; support wellness plans and follow-up care
- Collaborate closely with credentialed technicians and the broader team to ensure efficient, high-quality workflows
- Contribute to a cat-friendly, low-stress environment and continuous improvement culture
- Full-time schedule with extended weekday hours and limited Saturday shifts; new graduates are welcome with structured mentorship

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Michigan (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to high standards of care
- Interest in surgery and dentistry preferred; mentorship available for new graduates
