The Role

  • Small animal general practice position
  • Deliver preventative, medical, and surgical care for canine and feline patients
  • Perform routine and soft tissue surgical procedures
  • Carry out comprehensive dentistry
  • Utilise advanced diagnostics including ultrasound, radiography, dental radiography, and in-house laboratory equipment
  • Deliver safe anaesthesia and pain management protocols
  • Promote preventative healthcare and wellness plans
  • Work closely with experienced technicians and support staff
  • Contribute to a low-stress, cat-friendly clinical environment
  • Full-time schedule with extended weekday hours and limited Saturday rotation
  • Structured mentorship available for new graduates

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent qualification
  • Eligible for Michigan veterinary licensure
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
  • Interest in surgery and dentistry preferred
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive structured mentorship
