Veterinarian Medical Director

Global Talent Partners is excited to present an opportunity for an experienced Veterinarian to step into a Veterinary Medical Director position with a progressive, full-service companion animal hospital in the Allentown, Pennsylvania area.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity combining clinical practice, medical leadership and team development within a supportive hospital environment. An interest in exotic medicine is welcomed but entirely optional, allowing you to focus exclusively on companion animals if preferred.

This established hospital provides comprehensive care for dogs and cats alongside birds, reptiles, rabbits, ferrets, pocket pets and other exotic species.

You'll work alongside an experienced veterinary team supported by Licensed Veterinary Technicians, veterinary assistants and dedicated client care professionals, providing strong support across consultations, diagnostics, procedures and patient care.

The Opportunity

As Veterinary Medical Director, you'll remain actively involved in clinical practice while providing leadership and direction to the wider medical team.

Key responsibilities will include:
•Maintain an active medical and surgical caseload
•Provide clinical leadership to veterinarians and support staff
•Maintain and develop high standards of patient care
•Mentor and support fellow veterinarians
•Promote collaborative case discussion and knowledge sharing
•Support the development of medical protocols and clinical standards
•Encourage effective technician utilization
•Help develop a positive and supportive hospital culture
•Support continued clinical and professional development
•Work alongside hospital leadership on continued practice development

You'll have the autonomy to shape the hospital's clinical direction while remaining closely involved with patients, clients and the day-to-day veterinary team.
