The Role
- Provide medical leadership, uphold high standards of care, and support adherence to AAHA guidelines
- Mentor and develop veterinarians and clinical teams; foster a culture of collaboration and case review
- Oversee medical protocols, quality assurance, and controlled substance compliance
- Deliver high-quality clinical care, including examinations, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, and treatment planning
- Partner with practice management on workflow, scheduling, and client experience
- Guide service growth and equipment decisions aligned with patient care goals
- Participate in community outreach and client education initiatives

Requirements
- DVM or VMD (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Tennessee (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 3 years of small-animal clinical experience; prior leadership or mentoring experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to collaborative, high-quality care
