The Role
- Provide medical leadership, set and uphold clinical standards, and champion quality of care
- Mentor and support veterinarians, RVTs, and assistants; foster a collaborative, learning culture
- Deliver general practice care, including wellness, internal medicine, dentistry, and soft-tissue surgery
- Utilize on-site diagnostics (ultrasound, radiology, in-house lab) to guide evidence-based care
- Support and grow exotic-pet services aligned with clinician interests and training
- Partner with hospital leadership on medical protocols, workflow, scheduling, and client experience
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and medical-record standards; drive continuous improvement
- Predictable schedule with extended weekdays and limited rotating Saturday mornings; no overnights

Requirements
- DVM/VMD (or equivalent) and eligibility for an active Indiana veterinary license
- Authorization to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical skills in general practice; comfortable with routine surgery and dentistry
- Prior leadership or mentoring experience preferred; passion for team development
- Interest or experience in exotic-pet care welcomed
- Excellent communication, client service, and collaborative mindset
