The Role
- Provide clinical leadership and set medical standards and protocols that support excellent patient care.
- Deliver high-quality general practice medicine across wellness, internal medicine, dentistry, and soft-tissue surgery.
- Leverage in-house diagnostics, radiography, ultrasound, and fully equipped dental and surgical suites for efficient case workups.
- Mentor veterinarians and support staff; foster a positive, growth-oriented team culture.
- Build lasting client relationships and guide preventive care and treatment plans.
- Collaborate on scheduling, inventory, workflow, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support community engagement and contribute to the hospitals trusted reputation.

Requirements
- DVM/VMD degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- Current California veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
- Active or eligible DEA registration and any required state controlled substance permits
- 3-5 years of small-animal clinical experience; prior leadership or lead-doctor experience preferred
- Strong surgical skills and interest in dentistry
- Availability for limited Saturday coverage as scheduled
- Eligibility to work in the United States
