The Role
- Full-time, hospital-based position providing regional medical leadership across a group of general practice clinics while maintaining regular clinical shifts.
- Lead, coach, and develop associate veterinarians; nurture engagement, retention, and a collaborative, inclusive culture.
- Uphold consistent medical quality and patient safety through medical record reviews, case discussions, and clinical coaching.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including controlled substances management and radiation safety.
- Partner on recruiting and onboarding; support externs and students to build a strong pipeline of clinical talent.
- Guide clinical workflows that elevate client experience and drive high-quality, efficient care.
- Address escalated medical concerns from clients and oversee timely, professional resolutions.
- Oversee medical equipment needs and partner on maintenance and requests.
- Monitor clinical and operational metrics to support strong hospital performance.

Requirements
- DVM/VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Current Nevada veterinary license (or ability to obtain promptly)
- DEA license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Proven proficiency in general practice medicine, routine surgery, and dentistry
- Leadership experience coaching veterinarians and teams preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; comfort with digital radiography, dental X-ray, and in-house lab diagnostics
