The Role
- Full-time, hospital-based, working manager role combining clinical duties with leadership across assigned hospitals
- Lead, coach, and develop associate veterinarians to deliver consistent, high-standard, patient- and client-centered care
- Partner with practice managers to foster an inclusive, collaborative culture and achieve hospital performance goals
- Provide clinical services, including preventive care, diagnostics, treatment planning, surgery, and dentistry
- Validate clinical quality through medical record reviews, audits, and patient safety event reviews
- Oversee onboarding and coaching programs for newly hired veterinarians, supporting growth in clinical, surgical, and dental skills
- Recruit and engage veterinary talent; support externs and student observers
- Ensure compliance with all regulations, including controlled substances and radiation safety; serve as responsible veterinarian for regulatory permits as required
- Manage medical equipment needs and inventory planning
- Promote excellent client experience and timely resolution of medical concerns

Requirements
- DVM/VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Active Nevada veterinary license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- DEA license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Demonstrated leadership experience; prior multi-site or lead doctor experience preferred
- Proficiency in general surgery and dentistry
- Strong skills in coaching, quality assurance, medical record review, and operational metrics
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Comfort using electronic medical records and related practice software
- Ability to travel locally between hospitals within the Las Vegas area
