The Role
- Lead, coach, and develop associate veterinarians across assigned local hospitals to deliver consistent, high-quality, client-centered care
- Conduct regular hospital visits, support quality reviews, and ensure adherence to medical, safety, and regulatory standards (including controlled substances and radiation safety)
- Recruit, onboard, and mentor new veterinarians; build strong clinical teams and positive culture
- Partner with practice leadership to enhance workflows, client experience, and medical outcomes
- Support retention through engagement initiatives, feedback, and career development pathways
- Oversee medical equipment needs, maintenance, and calibration in partnership with local leaders
- Provide clinical coverage as needed, including wellness care, dentistry, and routine surgery
- Full-time position; includes some evenings and weekends aligned with hospital hours

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Current or eligible license to practice veterinary medicine in Indiana
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Proven clinical proficiency in general practice, including routine surgery and dentistry
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop veterinarians
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-forward environment, including care for dogs, cats, and select small/exotic pets
- Willingness to travel between assigned local hospitals as needed
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
