The Role
- Provide medical leadership, set clinical standards, and champion best practices aligned with AAHA guidelines
- Mentor and develop veterinarians and support staff; foster a positive, learning-focused culture
- Deliver high-quality general practice care, including wellness, internal medicine, dentistry, surgery, and urgent/urgent-like cases
- Support and encourage care for exotic and pocket-pet species as appropriate
- Utilize on-site diagnostics and imaging (in-house lab, digital x-ray, ultrasound, advanced imaging including CT) and perform procedures in the dental and surgical suites; surgical laser available
- Partner with practice management on workflow, scheduling, quality assurance, inventory, and client experience
- Contribute to steady, reliable Saturday coverage as part of the weekly schedule

Requirements
- DVM/VMD (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- License (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in Arizona
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Excellent communication skills and a client-centered approach
- Prior leadership experience preferred; a strong interest in mentorship and team development is essential
