The Role
- Provide medical leadership, set and uphold clinical protocols, and drive quality improvement
- Mentor and develop veterinarians and support staff; lead case reviews and foster a teaching culture
- Maintain an active clinical caseload: exams, diagnostics, dentistry (with dental radiography), anesthesia, and routine soft-tissue surgery
- Support same-day urgent appointments and collaborate on efficient, patient-centered scheduling
- Champion clear client communication and low-stress handling approaches
- Full-time schedule; typically a four-day workweek with 10-hour shifts, aligned with evening weekday and Saturday hospital hours

Requirements
- DVM/VMD (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- License to practice in Colorado (or ability to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Strong communicator with interest in mentoring and team leadership
- Competence in general practice medicine, routine soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry
- Prior leadership experience preferred, but motivated aspiring leaders are encouraged to apply
