The Hospital

The practice has invested in creating an excellent working environment for both its team and patients, with an experienced nursing team and strong surgical support, including a highly skilled lead surgical LVT.

The hospital deliberately maintains a manageable appointment schedule. Veterinarians typically see 1215 appointments per day, with 30-minute appointments as standard. New clients, puppies, kittens and euthanasia appointments are allocated one-hour appointments, allowing the team to provide thorough consultations without feeling rushed.

Surgical exposure includes spays and neuters, mass removals, exploratory procedures, splenectomies and anal gland removals, alongside a regular volume of dental work.

The owner is very hands-on, approachable and invested in the team. Clinical interests are encouraged, and cases are allocated with consideration for each veterinarian's strengths and interests. Maintaining a positive team culture is a genuine priority.

The Role

The hospital is looking for a confident Small Animal Veterinarian who enjoys general practice and is comfortable with routine consultations, medicine, dentistry and soft tissue surgery.

Ideally, candidates will have five or more years of clinical experience, although veterinarians with two to three years of experience will also be considered if they have the right clinical foundations and surgical confidence.

The successful candidate will be someone who values teamwork, communicates well and takes pride in delivering high-quality patient care.
