The Role
- Deliver comprehensive patient exams, preventive care, and medical workups
- Perform surgical and dental procedures with appropriate anesthetic monitoring
- Utilize in-house diagnostics and imaging to formulate timely treatment plans
- Communicate clearly with clients, providing education and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to controlled substance protocols
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to refine protocols and support daily operations
- Participate in case discussions and foster a positive, efficient team culture
- Support, mentor, and work alongside technicians and assistants to elevate patient care

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in California (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- 1+ years of experience in a veterinary practice
- Strong clinical, surgical, and dental skills with excellent communication and teamwork
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform occasional physically demanding tasks
