Global Talent Partners is excited to present an excellent opportunity for an Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established, full-service companion animal hospital in Elk Grove, California.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys clinical variety and wants access to advanced equipment, experienced technical support, and a genuinely collaborative team. With a caseload spanning preventative medicine, urgent care, dentistry, surgery, and selected exotic species, you'll have plenty of scope to develop your skills and pursue your individual clinical interests.

Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, providing flexibility alongside excellent opportunities for professional development.

About the Practice

This established small animal hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care for dogs, cats, rabbits, pocket pets, and selected exotic species. The hospital combines general practice with extended-hours urgent and emergency support, creating a varied and rewarding clinical environment.

Veterinarians work alongside Registered Veterinary Technicians, experienced assistants, client service professionals, and hospital leadership. The practice places a strong emphasis on teamwork, mentorship, and teaching, with visiting board-certified specialists providing additional support for more advanced cases.

The Opportunity

You'll manage a diverse caseload while enjoying the support and resources of an experienced clinical team.

The hospital operates extended hours from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm, seven days a week. Scheduling includes rotating weekends and may include participation in emergency and community case coverage, with overnight nursing support available for hospitalized patients.

Requirements

•Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
•California veterinary license or eligibility to obtain
•Eligibility to work in the United States
•Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
•Excellent communication and client relationship skills
•Collaborative and team-oriented approach
•Comfort with, or interest in developing skills in, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and urgent care
•Experience with rabbits, pocket pets, or exotic species is welcomed but not required
