The Role
- Provide comprehensive small-animal care across wellness, preventive medicine, and sick visits
- Perform general surgery (including spay/neuter and routine soft-tissue) and dentistry
- Utilize in-house diagnostics and radiography to guide treatment plans
- Oversee and coordinate care for hospitalized and boarding patients as needed
- Communicate clearly with clients to build lasting relationships and support compliance
- Collaborate with technicians, assistants, and client service teams to ensure efficient, high-quality care
- Participate in Saturday coverage and a schedule featuring two longer weekday shifts
- Maintain accurate medical records and contribute to continuous improvement of medical protocols

Requirements
- DVM/VMD or equivalent from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Connecticut (or eligibility to obtain)
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Strong communication skills, a client-centered approach, and a collaborative mindset
- Comfort with general surgery and dentistry, with a commitment to ongoing learning
