A veterinary organization is seeking a dedicated Traveling Veterinarian to support multiple locations in the Northeast area, (RI, CT, NY and NJ)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide veterinary coverage across Northeast locations, supporting Partner Doctors and local teams.
• Deliver client- and patient-centered care, including wellness, sick, dental, and surgical services.
• Promote and practice high-quality preventative care.
• Serve as a role model and champion of the organization's standards and services.
• Maintain and properly use all clinical equipment.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
• Support marketing and community outreach initiatives.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations, and maintain high-quality professional standards.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary licensure in good standing.
• DEA and CDS credentials as applicable.
• Minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience.
• Ability to travel to multiple Northeast locations on scheduled workdays.
• Comfortable serving as the sole veterinarian for most shifts.
• Skilled in sedation, anesthetic procedures, and dental/surgical care (preferred).
• Emergency or urgent care experience a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and client communication skills.
• Must obtain USDA accreditation for supported states within six months.
• Highly adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working in a dynamic, multi-location environment.
