The Role
- Perform thorough exams, develop diagnostic and treatment plans, and manage ongoing cases
- Communicate clearly with clients to guide preventive care and medical decisions
- Conduct general surgery and dentistry; use digital and dental radiography and in-house lab testing
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold controlled substance protocols
- Collaborate with hospital leadership on workflow, standards, and quality initiatives
- Support team training, participate in rounds when applicable, and contribute to a positive, efficient work environment
- Additional duties as reasonably assigned to ensure high-quality patient and client care

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in North Carolina (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong medical, surgical, and dental skills with a commitment to compassionate, high-quality care
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds
