The Role
- Perform comprehensive examinations, formulate diagnostic and treatment plans, and manage follow-up care
- Conduct soft-tissue surgery and dentistry with a focus on safety and quality outcomes
- Utilize in-house lab and imaging to support timely case work-ups and decision-making
- Maintain accurate, detailed medical records and uphold hospital protocols
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients about diagnoses, options, and home care
- Prescribe medications and follow controlled substance standards
- Participate in daily rounds, collaborate on complex cases, and help optimize workflows

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in North Carolina (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- DEA registration (or eligibility)
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a veterinary practice
- Strong diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills; excellent client communication
- Ability to perform the physical aspects of the role, including safely lifting up to 50 lbs
- Eligibility to work in the United States
