The Role
- Perform comprehensive examinations, develop diagnostic and treatment plans, and manage cases across wellness, internal medicine, dentistry, and surgery.
- Utilize in-house diagnostics, including radiography, ultrasound, and laboratory testing, to inform timely clinical decisions.
- Conduct soft-tissue surgery and dentistry; manage anesthesia and perioperative pain; exposure to orthopedic and ophthalmic cases available based on interest.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients to educate and guide care decisions.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with controlled substance protocols.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership on workflows and protocols, participate in rounds, and promote teamwork and efficiency.
- Contribute to a positive, patient-centered culture and engage in community outreach when possible.

Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- Active Massachusetts veterinary license or ability to obtain prior to start
- DEA registration or eligibility
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- 1+ year of clinical experience preferred; motivated new graduates considered with mentorship
- Strong clinical and communication skills; comfortable with surgery and dentistry or eager to develop these skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of clinical practice, including lifting up to 50 pounds
