The Role
- Deliver comprehensive dairy and beef herd health services, including preventive medicine and production-focused consulting
- Lead heifer wellness, calf care protocols, and nutrition-focused advisory work
- Perform field and in-hospital procedures and surgeries as appropriate
- Provide reproductive services and herd-level reproductive management
- Utilize ultrasound, including thoracic/respiratory assessments, as clinically indicated
- Collaborate closely with certified technicians who assist on ambulatory calls and in-hospital care
- Maintain clear, timely medical records and client communication
- Participate in a shared emergency rotation for livestock patients
- Serve a well-organized local client base designed to minimize windshield time

Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Eligible for and able to obtain a Wisconsin veterinary license
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
- USDA Category II accreditation (or ability to obtain promptly)
- Experience in bovine/ruminant medicine preferred; new graduates with strong interest in livestock considered
- Confident handling large animals and working in variable farm environments; strong communication and client-service skills
